基于自建語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的語(yǔ)言學(xué)方向英文論文摘要中模糊限制語(yǔ)的研究

【摘要】:學(xué)術(shù)論文寫作經(jīng)常被人們認(rèn)為是客觀信息的表達(dá),不能夾雜任何個(gè)人感情色彩,然而,高效的寫作是離不開模糊限制語(yǔ)的使用的。它作為一種寫作策略,可以體現(xiàn)作者治學(xué)的嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)和寫作風(fēng)格的謙遜,起到緩和語(yǔ)氣的作用,同時(shí)也能表明作者的態(tài)度,避免過于絕對(duì)的表達(dá),給讀者留下思考的余地。 摘要是論文精華的濃縮,它能夠高度準(zhǔn)確概括文章主旨,幫助讀者快速準(zhǔn)確檢索到自己需要的內(nèi)容,成為科研成果交流和傳播的重要載體,起到傳遞重要學(xué)術(shù)信息的作用。本文基于自建語(yǔ)料庫(kù),以Hyland(1998b)對(duì)模糊限制語(yǔ)的定義和Varttala(2001)的分類,通過分析山西師范大學(xué)上兩屆(2012和2013屆)畢業(yè)生130篇英文論文摘要中的詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ),來(lái)研究山西師范大學(xué)語(yǔ)言學(xué)方向詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的使用情況,從而歸納出山西師范大學(xué)語(yǔ)言學(xué)方向?qū)W生使用詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的一些特點(diǎn),希望對(duì)模糊限制語(yǔ)更深層次的研究,以及對(duì)山西師范大學(xué)文科和理科專業(yè)英文論文摘要中模糊限制語(yǔ)的研究提供借鑒。 本文以山西師范大學(xué)上兩屆畢業(yè)生的130篇英文論文摘要為語(yǔ)料,通過自建語(yǔ)料庫(kù),使用Antconc3.2.2和SPSS17.0來(lái)計(jì)算山西師范大學(xué)語(yǔ)言學(xué)方向詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的使用頻率,通過例子分析其五類詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的分布規(guī)律及使用情況。 研究結(jié)果顯示:(1)山西師范大學(xué)語(yǔ)言學(xué)方向英文摘要中詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的總體使用頻率和分布與發(fā)表在國(guó)際英語(yǔ)期刊英文摘要中的詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)相比存在著顯著性差異;(2)在整體分布上,認(rèn)知副詞占到了40%左右,而認(rèn)知名詞卻不到4%,這說明學(xué)生在漢語(yǔ)寫作中就經(jīng)常使用認(rèn)知副詞,習(xí)慣把原來(lái)的漢語(yǔ)摘要直接翻譯成英語(yǔ),而這種譯本在表達(dá)上更趨向于中式化,說明母語(yǔ)遷移對(duì)山西師范大學(xué)學(xué)生詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的使用有一定的影響。另外,認(rèn)知名詞比例小可能是由于英語(yǔ)中有豐富的詞匯來(lái)表達(dá)漢語(yǔ)的同一個(gè)意思,但學(xué)生卻不能靈活應(yīng)用;(3)山西師范大學(xué)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)英文摘要中詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的總體使用頻率要低于國(guó)際英語(yǔ)期刊,但是使用了較多的不同模糊限制詞,這可能是由于山西師范大學(xué)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)的總詞數(shù)多于國(guó)際英語(yǔ)期刊語(yǔ)料庫(kù),但同時(shí)也表明山西師范大學(xué)學(xué)生使用詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的意識(shí)在逐漸增長(zhǎng),他們已經(jīng)有了在摘要寫作中使用不同的模糊限制詞的意識(shí)了;(4)結(jié)果顯示山西師范大學(xué)學(xué)生在認(rèn)知形容詞和認(rèn)知名詞的使用上與國(guó)際英語(yǔ)期刊語(yǔ)料庫(kù)沒有顯著性差別,但在認(rèn)知副詞,認(rèn)知?jiǎng)釉~和情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的使用上卻存在著顯著性差異。這表明山西師范大學(xué)學(xué)生應(yīng)該提高這三類模糊限制詞的使用意識(shí),以便進(jìn)行有效的學(xué)術(shù)寫作;(5)山西師范大學(xué)學(xué)生在使用五類詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)的各子類中表現(xiàn)出了自己的特點(diǎn),在各子類模糊限制詞的選擇當(dāng)中有自己的偏好。鑒于對(duì)當(dāng)前詞匯模糊限制語(yǔ)使用情況的了解,作者對(duì)今后的研究提出了一些可行性建議,,希望能夠規(guī)范學(xué)生的論文寫作,提高他們使用模糊限制語(yǔ)的意識(shí)。
[Abstract]:The writing of academic paper is often regarded as the expression of objective information and can't contain any personal emotional color. As a kind of writing strategy, it can reflect the rigour of the author's management and the humility of the writing style, play a role in moderating the tone, and can also show the author's attitude, avoid over-absolute expression, and leave the reader a room for thinking. this paper is a kind of concentration of the essence of the paper, which can give a high degree of accuracy to the main purpose of the article, help the reader to quickly and accurately retrieve the content that they need, become an important carrier of the exchange and dissemination of scientific research results, and play a role in the transfer of important academic information. The paper, based on the self-built corpus, uses the definition of Hyland (1998b) in the definition of the fuzzy limit and the classification of the Vartara (2001), and analyzes the fuzzy limit of the words in the 130 English paper abstracts of the two (2012 and 2013) graduates of Shanxi Normal University. This paper, based on the study of the use of the fuzzy limit in the linguistics of Shanxi Normal University, summarizes some features of the use of the vocabulary fuzzy limit in the linguistics direction of Shanxi Normal University, and hopes to make a deeper study on the fuzzy limit. In view of the understanding of the use of the current vocabulary, the author puts forward some feasible suggestions for future research, and it is hoped to be able to standardize the writing of the students' paper and improve their use.
